One Year!

Jessica moved back to good ol' Cedar City last January... she started working in the Staples Copy Center down there shortly after. Well, one cold January night of 2009, Tony was driving down Main Street in his "new ride" as he headed to work. He arrives at Staples and walks to the break room to put his stuff away. Mean while Jessica was on her break. She was just sitting there at the table, minding her own business. Just then Tony walks in, He glances at her with a funny look, and then turns around and walks out. He rushed to the front of the store and asked everyone curiously, "There is some girl in the break room, Who is it?". Everyone just laughs and explains that "the new girl" has started working. Well, Jessica's break was over and she was now up at the front of the store working. So Tony, decides he is going to go and say hello to the girl. After all she is pretty cute with her dark hair and all. So he walks over to the copy center trying to find something to do, and says hello. She looks up from her work and says hi. While thinking to herself, he is pretty cute, but his hair is long... hmmm. So they chit chatted for a little bit, asking random questions to each other. This went on for a few days, then Tony finally decided that he wanted to "hang out" with this girl.. "get to know her", as he would say to his friends.
Me and Tony on our "first official" date!

ha ha well that is how it all started! He must of had so much fun with me that first night, because he hasn't left since! :) Yes, we have been dating for one full year now! It is so crazy! Time sure is flying. But it has been a great year! Full of lots of fun adventures and laughs! For our date night this week since it was our one year. We decided to do something fun, so we went to Ninja, it is a Japaneese place where they cook the food on the grill in front of you. Then we went to a movie! It was a fun night! Hopefully there will be plenty to come!

Me and Tony, one year later! (not the best picture, but what do you do!)

Ten Years Ago Today....

It was ten years ago today that my Mom, and all our family came home to tell us five young kids that our Dad had passed away. I remember Aunt Lisa playing games with us on the living room floor to try and keep us occupied while everyone was gone. When they got there and told us, I remember Aunt Julie sitting down next to me on the couch and giving me a big hug, all of us crying. Then I looked up at her and asked her what we were going to do with everything? And then I wanted her to see a metal I had got from school....I guess you could say we were all just a little young and oblivious still.
I was looking at some pictures today of him and I thought I would send you guys some of them. They all show what a great man he was! Some are from when he was just a little kid, in his club or just with all of his family! It moves on to him playing in the band at school, and riding his motorcycle around with his friends. (He never did grow out of that one!! ) Then he served a mission in Mexico, and after found a cute young lady.... (I LOVE your hair mom! :)) They got married, and had five wonderful kids... (you should ask my mom to see if she still thinks we are wonderful!) He was able to bless all of his children, and baptize some of us. He taught us to ride the bikes, shoot guns, learn to love the sand dunes and go camping! He even got up early one day before work to teach me how to tie my shoes! We all started to grow up a little, and we would all get together with our cousins! Don't forget our annual baseball game with the Call's! He loved to get all of us together, Danielle's ice cream, Mexico trips, family reunions at the Cabin, chasing the swans man around Parowan or just Sunday dessert! Dad definately left us with some fun memories of him! And I am sure we will all probably laugh about them forever! Dad really loved his family and the gospel. He made sure that we knew he did, and was sure to teach us to know what was right to. I know that he is up in Heaven watching over all of us, and is still teaching us in spirit! He will ALWAYS be around to help us... and we all know that when it is our time he will be there ready to come and give us ALL a big hug and welcome us home... who knows he will probably even have a big bowl of ice cream to share!
Norman was a great son, brother, cousin, husband, father, uncle and friend! We all love him and I am sure still miss him just as much as the rest of us! I hope you like the pictures! I love you all!!!

I was able to go out to the Cemetary and put some flowers out for him... Sure do miss him!!

I LOVE YOU DAD!

Christmas

This year for Christmas we were all at my Mom's! It was a lot of fun to have us all together! We had our Christmas Eve dinner, listened to the nativity, and did our cousin exchange. Christmas morning Chewy and Chelsea were super excited and up at 6:30 for to see what they had got... so yes we were all up! It was fun to see them so excited and have Kendra excited too! I forgot to get pictures with my camera though... so you'll have to picture this in your mind! :) Later on that afternoon, I went back into Cedar to give Tony his Christmas present! I got him some new headlights for his car, and he gave me a beautiful diamond necklace!! It was a great Christmas! I love this time of year!

Arizona

My Best Friend Megan and I!

So I was able to go to Arizona and visit my Best Friend Megan! It was so wonderful to be able to have her around again! I have really missed having her just a few minutes away from me! When I moved to Cedar she would come down or I would go up and see her more often, then she decided to move to Arizona... now this is just a little to far for my little heart to handle! But I finally found a good deal and flew down there for a few days! It was great! I really missed those nights of staying up late and talking about boys, or watching movies or making cookies! It is nice to just have her around! While we were there we went and got pedicures! Went out to eat, got ice cream, went shopping and just hung out! And I LOVED every minute of it! I don't think I could ever get tired of Megan! She is such a wonderful girl!! I was very sad when it was time to leave... I did make her promise to come and visit me! :)
