It was ten years ago today that my Mom, and all our family came home to tell us five young kids that our Dad had passed away. I remember Aunt Lisa playing games with us on the living room floor to try and keep us occupied while everyone was gone. When they got there and told us, I remember Aunt Julie sitting down next to me on the couch and giving me a big hug, all of us crying. Then I looked up at her and asked her what we were going to do with everything? And then I wanted her to see a metal I had got from school....I guess you could say we were all just a little young and oblivious still.
I was looking at some pictures today of him and I thought I would send you guys some of them. They all show what a great man he was! Some are from when he was just a little kid, in his club or just with all of his family! It moves on to him playing in the band at school, and riding his motorcycle around with his friends. (He never did grow out of that one!! ) Then he served a mission in Mexico, and after found a cute young lady.... (I LOVE your hair mom! :)) They got married, and had five wonderful kids... (you should ask my mom to see if she still thinks we are wonderful!) He was able to bless all of his children, and baptize some of us. He taught us to ride the bikes, shoot guns, learn to love the sand dunes and go camping! He even got up early one day before work to teach me how to tie my shoes! We all started to grow up a little, and we would all get together with our cousins! Don't forget our annual baseball game with the Call's! He loved to get all of us together, Danielle's ice cream, Mexico trips, family reunions at the Cabin, chasing the swans man around Parowan or just Sunday dessert! Dad definately left us with some fun memories of him! And I am sure we will all probably laugh about them forever! Dad really loved his family and the gospel. He made sure that we knew he did, and was sure to teach us to know what was right to. I know that he is up in Heaven watching over all of us, and is still teaching us in spirit! He will ALWAYS be around to help us... and we all know that when it is our time he will be there ready to come and give us ALL a big hug and welcome us home... who knows he will probably even have a big bowl of ice cream to share!
Norman was a great son, brother, cousin, husband, father, uncle and friend! We all love him and I am sure still miss him just as much as the rest of us! I hope you like the pictures! I love you all!!!

I was able to go out to the Cemetary and put some flowers out for him... Sure do miss him!!
I LOVE YOU DAD!
