Major Update

I know I have been a slacker! But here we go!

Spring Break!

For Spring Break 2012, we went with our friends Jordan and Tyson to Las Vegas! It was a lot of fun! Tyson got us a good deal on some rooms at the Aria, in the new City Center! It was way nice! When we first got there and opened our door, then blinds opened (the whole back wall was windows looking over Vegas) and the lights and TV turned on automatically and said Welcome, Mr. Nixon. The room it self was pretty dang nice too! When we got all settled in we went down to the Outlet's and went shopping! That night we walked down the Strip, ate at the Cheesecake Factory. And wathced the Bellagio's water show! The next day we got up and ate at IHOP. Then we went Go-Karting! Tony knows the guy who owns the place and they gave us an awesome deal! The boys raced 3 or 4 times and we were able to hang out in the lounge room with tv's, pool table and free monster drinks! It was pretty fun! After we were done there we went back to the hotel and got ready and we "finally" decided to eat at the Rio's Buffet. It took us like an hour to finally decided where we were going to go! ha ha Jordan wasn't very happy with us and not being able to make a decision! Lets just say dinner was delicious and we were all happy afterwards! On our way out of the Casino they were about to start the "show in the sky" so we watched that and Jordan and I got some beads! ha ha After dinner we went to the New York New York roller coaster! It was super fun, but Jordan lost her favorite earring, and Tony ALMOST lost his glasses! But we were able to save those! Well we went back to the hotel for the night. Slept in and then had to drive back home the next morning for work! It was a great trip! We had a lot of fun! We will have to go again soon!!

Happy Birthday Trevor!

I know I am late AGAIN! But Happy Birthday to Trevor! All of my brothers and sisters and Justin's girlfriend went out four-wheeling for the day. That night Tony and I went to Parowan and we all had a big dinner and cake and ice cream! After that we all played scum! It was a fun night!

February 18th was Janice's 15th birthday!! I know I am a slacker! But we all went to my Mom's for dinner and then cake and ice cream! I can't believe that Janice will be driving now! WEIRD!! I feel like she is still 5 years old! ha ha Well I just wanted say Happy Birthday Chewy!!!! We love you!

Valentines Day!

Valentines Day was supposed to be very low key this year for us. So I thought anyways. We had decided that we weren't going to spend any money so we could save for our hopes to be buying a house soon. So all I did for my handsome man was make him a card! I had to work that day (what's new!). Well I get home from work and there are rose petals and candles and candy from the door to our kitchen. In there was a card that Tony hand made,chocolates and a bouquet of roses! After I saw all of it Tony came out and gave me a big hug and kiss. He told me to go change and we went out for dinner! Everywhere was packed! We ended up going to Winger's! Very good as always! Well our low key homemade Valentines turned into a wonderful date night with my man! Love you Tony!

New Job!

I have been promoted! :) I got the job as the Assistant Manager for the Staples in St. George! It all happened really fast! The Manager down there called me one day and asked if I would be interested. I told her yes, so I filled out the application. By the time I submitted the application, it was only two hours later that I had my first interview. And a week later I had the job! We didn't even have time to get someone to replace me in Cedar! It all happened so fast! I love it though! It has been great working down there! The drive isn't the funnest (hopefully we will be living there soon) but I am enjoying it all!

Fishies!

Well we have graduated from plant to fish! Just so you all know the plant is still alive and growing! :) We got some fish from our friends for a Christmas present (they had no idea about Tony's deal either). Well lets just say there must have been something wrong with the Christmas fish, becuase they all died within three days! So I finally talked Tony into letting us go and get our own fish, and move a step closer to the final goal (kids)! ha ha Well Tony and I went to get our fish the first time and no one would come and help us so Tony got mad and made us leave. Well a few days later Jamie came with her kids so I took them to help me pick out the "fish"! I was planning on just getting the 20 cent ones.. well Kendra had a different plan! She wanted the $3 yellow fish and only the yellow fish! :) So we got them and she helped me put them in their tank! Every time she comes over now she checks her fish first thing to make sure they are still there! Guess what? They are! I have kept them alive for the last 2 1/2 months! :) One step closer!!!

New Years!

For New Years we went to Veyo! ha ha Jaryd's Mom Penny lives there and since Jaryd has to go back to basic on the 3rd we decided to go and hangout with him while we can. We had Miranda meet us in St. George, to run a few errands before we headed over there. When we got there Penny's kitchen was in full swing! We all helped to make a TON of appitizers! It was alot of fun! Tony however, while slicing potatoes, decided to take the saftey off, and yes he sliced his finger! He got it pretty good too! It was gushing blood forever! Him and his little buddy Karson went to go and put a bandaid on it, but it wouldn't stop enough for a bandaid to help. So there is blood all over the bathroom now and Tony asked Karson to come and get me.. (I didn't know he even cut his finger!) Karson asked Tony, "Do I need to run?" ha ha it was pretty funny! He was very worried about Tony! Well we ended up just wrapping it in alot of gauze until it slowed enough for a bandaid to do the job! After that we enjoyed our delicious appitizers and played games! We played "Golf" and Jaryd had this so called great stratagy to win.. Well Tony, Miranda and I kicked his butt. He still thinks that his way is right. It's okay Jaryd we still love you! During the game Karson thought that Miranda and Tony were married.. it was funny! He kept saying you love her! ha ha And he would say "I love you Tony" just randomly the whole night! He really loves his Uncle Tony! After Golf we played Chicken Foot. We would mess with Jaryd and not put them on the right side, or touching the other domino... it drove him nuts! I thought I was bad! Well in the middle of that game it was New Years! We all blew our horns! And I got my new years kiss, a few minutes late because we forgot! ha ha We then cleaned everything up and drove back to Cedar. Miranda stayed at our house for the night. It was fun to hang out with her though because she is also in the Army and will be going to California after basic. Jaryd will be going to Texas. So it was a bitter sweet. We probably won't see either of them for a long long time. I am just glad we got to see them while they were here! Good luck guys! Happy New Year!

New Years Kiss... a few minutes late! :)

Daddy!

It is kinda crazy to think that 12 years have past us by... I feel like we just moved to Parowan, and I was the new girl in school! This time of year always brings up the old and good memories of my Dad! Going to Danielle's to get ice cream, going on four wheeler rides at the dunes, riding horses and the buggy! Whatever it was it always seemed to be a good one! I am still not quite sure why my Dad was called home way to soon, but there must be a good reason! I was talking to Tony the other day about him, and it always makes me so sad. Tony never got to meet him, never knew his sense of humor, or his chuckle when he laughed! Never knew where I got my love for ice cream or being out doors. He didn't get to ask my Dad if he could marry his little girl...We both felt his spirit at the temple the day we got married, I know he was there with us, but it still isn't the same! Tony should have been grilled by him and in order to whisk me away as his wife! I just hope that we will be able to make some memories together with him, when they do finally meet. My Dad was a great guy! He loved EVERYONE, even the bums on the street! He was always serving people. I remember how much I hated going to peoples houses on the weekend to clean their yard or help someone move, because my Dad offered my families help. But now looking back those are some of the fun memories. Everyone loved him for that! He had a great sense of humor! He was always making people laugh or messing with them. I think that everyone who ever met my Dad will never forget him. Twelve years ago today he was called home. I know he is in a better place, and was needed for something, but boy oh boy can I just tell you how much I miss him and his hugs! I love you Dad, can't wait to see you again!
