Spring Break!

Last week was spring break for SUU.... Tony and I had no idea what we wanted to do for it either! Well a few days before, the red dragon broke down... It took Tony a few days to get it fixed completely so he had to get up at the crack of dawn and drive me to work each morning. Well one of those wonderful mornings Tony called in on the radio station, and WON a 2 night stay at the Virgin River in Mesquite! So we decided that we would go down there for Spring Break! It was actually pretty fun! We went down Wednesday night after work, and just hung out went to dinner and chilled. Thursday we SLEPT IN! Then went to breakfast, and that afternoon got massages! And chilled at the spa for a few hours! It was wonderful!! Then that night Jordan and Tyson came up for dinner! We went and got a $5.99 prime rib... I know your thinking you really ate something that was that cheap? Yes, we did! And it was delicious! Then we went and attempted black jack and roulette! ... Let's just say that we didn't do very good!! ha ha so we decided to take our luck to BINGO! It was the funnest part of the night! We played with a bunch of old people who go every night! ha ha we were both one away a few times from winning... all we ended up winning was free doppers! ha ha Luck of the Irish eh.. I say not.. but oh well it was a fun vacation!! Can't wait for Spring to get here!!

I Need Your Opinion!!

So I finally finished making my picture frames, and got them hung up! BUT... now I can't decide if I need to add something else with them? (Odds are usually best right?) Or do I just leave them how they are because the wall is kinda small already?! Let me know what you think!

Wrestling

So as most of you know wrestling is a big thing in the Nixon family.... basically that is what is talked about at Sunday dinner during the months of November to February... Well this last weekend Tony and I went to the wonderful town of Richfield with his parents and sister to watch Brad wrestle for region. It is his senior year so they are all sad that this is it for a few years with them and wrestling... well at least with watching their family... here are a few pictures from our weekend! He did a really good job, the ref kinda screwed him out of an important win, so he ended up at 7th place.. but he will do great at State!! Good Luck next weekend Brad!!

The Holiday's!

This year we spent Christmas with the Nixon's! It was really fun! Christmas Eve, we all got together and did random things as a family! We went out for lunch, delicous mexican food... but I think we can all say we ate to much! We did a egg drop, and could only use things we found around the house with-in ten minutes! Then we went outside and dropped them off the shed! We all did so good, that no ones egg even broke! Then we all played games! Tony and I taught them how to play Nertz, and we played a card game called Golf, then we just hung out and read Christmas stories, and watched a movie! Christmas day we all slept in and then once Anni and Mike got there we all opened presents! We were all spoiled! It was great! We just hung out the rest of the day and ate yummy food, and played games once again! Then Tony's mom made us a delicous dinner! Then next day Tony and I went to Parowan, we got to talk to my brother Justin, it was fun to see him! (They let us skype!) He is doing wonderful! Then after he had to go, we all went to my Mom's house for a wonderful after Christmas dinner and opened all of our gifts from them! It was all really fun! And very relaxing!
For New Years, we decided to go to Salt Lake and hang out with Tony's brother and sister-in-law since we didn't get to see them over Christmas. When we first got there we ate at Leatherbee's! Tony absolutely loves that place and we all love their hot fudge and ice cream! (Must me the Call in me!) Then we decided to go and watch a local band play! They did an awesome job, other than they started 2 hours late! So we drove around the city to waste time, and saw some really fun and random things! Once we went back we listend to them play for about an hour, then we went back to Stansbury and watched the ball drop on TV for our New Years! It was great! I love the holiday's and enjoyed all the time off!!!
