Drag Races in Las Vegas!

Last weekend Me, Tony, Shane, Miranda, Jaryd and Jodi all went to Las Vegas for the Drag races! It was so much fun! We had everything planned out for awhile and we were all looking forward to it. Shane decided that he was going to find us a hotel and get all the tickets and everything ready. He finally found and reserved everything. (Keep in mind that he had been talking about this for ever and was very proud of it! So we head to St. George Saturday afternoon, to meet up with Jaryd, Jodi and Miranda. When we get there the boys decide that they are going to ride in one car and the girls in another. So we are off again, and us girls were ahead, because the boys stopped to get drinks. So we are pulling into Vegas and I ask Shane where our hotel is so we can meet them. He explains and they end up catching up to us before we get there. So I am following him and he pulls into the ghetto motel. I thought he was joking so I turned around! (Remember-He had been telling us how nice the place was, it had two pools, big rooms with two queen beds and couch and all.....)This was NOT nice... it was scary! Well after a min of driving around we realize that he really had pulled into the right place... he was so embarrassed! He said the Internet must have had ALOT of photo shopped pictures because this was not what he paid for! Well we got our money back and ended up calling and staying at Jaryd's aunts house! So we went there and got ready for the night.. We ended up Indian leg wrestling for the nice air mattresses! ha ha It was so funny! Me and Tony won! :) So then we went down to the strip and ate at the ESPN place in New York New York. It was really good! Everyone wanted to go to a club, but me and Jodi aren't 21 yet. So Shane and Miranda went, and the rest of us walked down to another casino to look at some Ferrari's! I had high heels on. Word of advise, DON'T wear high heels to walk down the strip! When we finally got there the place was closed too! I was so mad! ha ha. 5 blisters later we made it though! The next day we woke up to a big homemade breakfast that was soo good! Then we all got ready and went to the Drag races! It was so much fun! I have never been and we were like right next to the track! It was so loud and you could just feel it as the zoomed past you at 300 mph! It was crazy! We were there for awhile, then we went back to the strip and went hot tubing at the Flamingo. It was nice to sit and relax... well after that it was time to head back to the cold snow in Utah! It was such a fun trip though! Loved every second of it! .... MTC

This last Wednesday I was able to go up to the MTC in Provo, with Tony. We went up to drop off Sam. Tony baptized him while he was on his mission. It was really neat to see them back together again, and also see what is going to continue because of the work Tony and his companion put in. Sam is the only member in his family so his friends (the ones who got him interested in the church) drove him up here and we met them in Provo. Tony was really proud of Sam, we all were! He was so excited to go and serve the Lord! He will be an excellent missionary!

Here is a bunch of random things we have been up to the last few weeks.. I have been a slacker lately! Jamie and Trevor came down for Jacob's eagle court. And everyone just hung out the whole weekend...

Valentines Day!

Valentines Day was a lot of fun for me this year! Tony had to work that morning, but I got the day off! So I slept in and was just enjoying myself. I was getting ready to go to the store, when the door bell rang. Tony had some flowers delivered to me! It was so cute! I didnt' expect it because he has always said he hated giving people flowers because they just die! Well after he got done with work, he came and got me. I gave him his present (a picture frame with picture of us and all our inside jokes around it). Then he had the rest of the day planned. When we first got to his house he gave me a box of chocolates. He had been telling me about these chocolates and how they were so good since we started dating. So he had some shipped down here to give me! It was cute. Then we went to the store and got stuff to make tin foil dinners, went back and made them. Then he had this old couch and put his tv in the back of the truck and we headed up the mountain. We met his friend Jaryd and his wife Jodi up there and cooked our dinners over the fire. We attempted to watch the movie but it was to cold (it was 5 degrees! to be exact!) the cords froze and there wasn't enough power to start the tv! ha ha so we just ate and then came back down and watched a movie at my house! It was a perfect Valentines Day and I could tell that Tony tried to make it great! I loved every minute of it!! Happy Valentines Day!

My Poor Car!

So last weekend started off great... but that only lasted about 3 hours! I had come home from work and parked my car to the side of my house. Then I went and got ready for the night, and left with Tony. We were going to go get some ice cream with our friends. Well not even an hour later I get a call from my roommates. They say "Um, some lady just ran into your car." I was like your joking right? No, they weren't! So Tony brings me back to my house, I get there and the back side of my car is smashed! So I guess this lady who is driving a freaking 15 passenger van tried to turn around next to my car... ya didn't work so swell! Can I remind you that there was a drive way not even 15 feet away she could have pulled into to turn around so easily! But she decided to try and attempt a 3 point turn and apparently forgot that my car was behind her! She ended up pushing it about a foot and half up onto the side walk... So yes I have been car-less for a week now... well I guess I shouldn't say car-less because my Mom was super nice and let me use hers for a little bit, but I am STILL waiting on the insurance to get it in and fixed! BLAH!! I hate it!


At least she didn't get the door to bad or the trunk, right?!

So my car was completely on the black part of the road when I left.. and this is where she pushed it to! Into the freaking rocks!

And her bumper went right into my tire, hopefully it didn't do to much damage to the frame or axle!
